This study aggregates 9,297 public Google reviews from 100 businesses in hair transplant, dental and aesthetic care in Turkey. We did not retain review text or reviewer identities. Findings cover language, star rating and owner responses only.
What did the sample show?
Of the reviews, 4,164 were in Turkish, 3,976 were in a known non-Turkish language, and 1,157 had an undetermined source language. Excluding the undetermined group, non-Turkish languages account for 48.8% of reviews with known language. They account for 42.8% of all reviews.
Businesses had replied to 3,599 reviews (38.7%). The observed response rate was 50.2% for hair transplant listings, 33.3% for dental listings and 31.6% for aesthetic listings. These differences do not establish care quality or the effect of a reply.
A total of 8,678 reviews had five stars (93.3%). Businesses were purposively selected from Google Maps listings with at least 50 public ratings. This selection and the fact that reviewers do not represent all patients mean the percentage should not be generalised to Turkey.
Method
Candidates came from 15 Google Maps searches (three specialties across five cities). The selected sample included 35 hair transplant, 40 dental and 25 aesthetic businesses, with quotas across Istanbul, Antalya, Izmir, Mugla and Aydin. We requested up to the newest 100 reviews per business through the DataForSEO Business Data Google Reviews API. All 100 tasks completed and returned 9,297 reviews. Newest-first ordering was checked on 13 sample tasks covering 1,238 timestamps.
Because raw API responses can contain personal information and sensitive health details, review text, names, profiles, photos, individual review records and clinic names were not retained. We therefore publish no topic or sentiment percentages. Language does not identify nationality.
